Luminare Molecular, LLC (Luminare) was formed by J. Paul Shea, PhD in 2004 to expand the role of Molecular Imaging in Pharmaceutical, Physiological and Biological Research. It remains our mission to expand access to Molecular Imaging technology for Physicians, Patients and Researchers.
Since 2009, Luminare has been focused on the greater Gulf region, with projects across Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman. Luminare opened an office in Dubai in 2013, Luminare Molecular, Gulf, FZCO.
The Gulf region has the unique challenge of lacking both Molecular Imaging infrastructure and Molecular Imaging expertise. It is not sufficient to provide state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, it is necessary to provide experienced practitioners and technicians, comprehensive high-level training and a commitment to expand Molecular Imaging access and utilization.
Luminare has assembled a team of world class experts, whose experiences reflect hundreds of years of direct involvement in Radiopharmaceutical Facility Design and Construction, Commercial Production and Distribution Operations, World-wide Regulatory Filings and pioneering Research in Biomarkers and Technology.
Our team members have Operated Commercial Distribution sites in the EU, USA, UK, Singapore and Australia. They have designed fully GMP compliant production facilities in the US, Middle East and Australia. They have registered Radio-pharmaceuticals in the major world Regulatory bodies (US, EU). They have been active participants in the evolution of Commercial Distribution models, novel Radiochemistry methodologies and new Imaging Biomarkers and Technologies.
